888PL Reserve rewards

Postby Pagey666 » Sat Nov 06, 2010 11:51 am

Hello 888
I must say im very disapointed in the false advertising of the chance to win an LCD TV at one of your events. I recently played and won the tournament at the Cavan Htl on wednesday the 3rd of november i spun the wheel got the major prize only to be told sorry its not a TV but a LCD computer monitor so had to take the camera as the Xbox has allready been won and i have no need for another monitor.
This was very disapointing and a little let down as 888pl have always been very good with their promos

Regards

I remember reading about it. Just double checked and it is a 23" LCD HD TV shown in the promo image below:

Are you sure it is not one of those monitors that also work as a TV? Like of these:
http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/23%22_F ... -1835.html

Product Specs

23" Full HD 1080p LCD TV/Monitor
Resolution 1980 x 1080
Response Time: 5ms
50000:1 Dynamic Contrast, 1000:1 Typical
Dimensions: 571 x 432.5 x 189.5 mm
Built-in HD DVB-T Tuner
Remote Control Included
Built-in Multimedia Speakers (Dolby Digital Plus, SRS trusurround HD)
Inputs/Outputs
D-SUB
DVD-D
HDMI
Component
DTV Tuner Antenna Input
Optical Out
Audio In
Headphone Out

The TC may have been confused saying it was just a monitor. Pretty sure 888PL would not try to mislead their loyal player base.

yeah sounds like a monitor/tv combo and the person who was going to give you the prize had it confused.

A monitor is a TV without a tuner.
