My understanding is that they run 2 leaderboards in this situation, one for MON and one for SAT, Garth can confirm

There are two separate leader boards for each event, yes. The NPL website already reflects this.

The Saturday game has only been running for 1 week, ie yesterday.

or are you just so far ahead that top 5 is guaranteed?

There are 2 games running at Aces - the Monday game was the original event, and a Saturday game has now been added. Both events have leaderboards listed on the NPL website. As with any venue that offers more than 1 game per week, whether it's a double on the same day or games spread over different days, each individual time slot will have its own leader board counting towards State Finals.
