Re: Come on hand discussioners!
Really dont think he had the flush actually almost certain he does not. My read is full book only which still beats me. The guy went on to make many all in bets, mainly preflop and after seeing what he was doing this with I really wished I had called. His 90k stack was down to 30k within 5 minutes. I got moved shortly after this when I checked he was out within about another 1/2 hour.

QT and 66 are the only realistic hands that you beat, i think if he has these you just pay him off and move on.
i agree, he has a flush here never.

villain basically never has a flush here. since the Q is a Q of spades, villain can't have hands like KQ or AQ suited that would call 2 streets and then backdoor the flush.
Villan has the stack to chase with AXss (any X, could be 2s), and may well have.
I think check/calling an all in play (unless they have been caught stealing in similar spots) with a far from nut hand is not advisable.
The power of a big stack shove on display here - so confusing and such dire consequenses if wrong.
May all your pain be champagne!

Re: Come on hand discussioners!
its a runner runner flush, thats the difference
if there were 2 spades on the flop, its a fold for me.
but even crazies dont chase runner runner flushes most of the time.

Ohhhhhhh they chase the nut flush (or at least see the next card) for 900 most days of the week.
If they have quadrupled up early in a tourney (judging by stack sizes he has)- i would suspect they may be the type that chase flushes regardless of odds.

In this case it should be an easy call (if you are beaten by a Full House, its just bad luck.)
I hate when I make what I think is a big fold only to see the stack spazz off his chips real quick after that.
I will say it again tho, thats the power of the big stack river shove.
I do remember my bust out hand of the PLO (to the best of my recollection)
I was blinded out the first levels because we had to drive to our friends house for some poker playing fun times.
I folded another round or so with junk and saw a free flop from the BB with
578X (suits not relevent)
Flop 557 - i start dancing woop woop full boat -my pot bet gets called
Turn 8 - woop woop - boat got bigger my all in gets called!! Happy days!!
Well, actually no - opponent rolls 77xx for a bigger boat from the get go!
I lol'ed - i imagine he lol'ed a whole lot louded tho!

I was on that table and I remember that hand.
For around 3 laps of the table you needed the nut full just to play. We had full into full nearly 10 times.
