Free Agent Time

Postby Russ » Thu Jul 01, 2010 7:02 pm

Not sure how many of you guys will care besides Dave,

but with it being July 1st, the biggest offseason trade period in NBA history has kicked off.

Massive names up for grabs as free agents, pretty much every massive NBA name you can think of besides Kobe and Howard really,

This is my first thread attempt so will probably fail hard but anyone whos interested just post big news and discuss whats bound to be a massive off-season.

If I had to put money somwhere?

LeBron and Bosh to Chicago.

Boozer to Miami, or possibly the Nets.
Johnson to the Nets, or Knicks... or maybe Miami.

Amar'e to Miami, or Nets - possibly Knicks.

Besides that, I don't know.

I don't think James will stay in Ohio though.

Start now! Though they can't sign until ... the 8th or something ?
The second LeBron signs with Chicago, if he does, I'll stick $100 on them for the championship.

I really liked the promo they did for the draft. Feelin' Good (ok, unfortunately the Buble version), black and white, suits, looks cool.
Obviously helps to know the players but eh.

One of my favourite songs ever.
Buble does it ok - though I prefer Nina Simone, or Muse (who covered it brilliantly)

i like the big band sound in general, its cool.

went to his concert, he was actually really good live.

funniest bit was at the start when he talked to all the blokes in the audience, saying that i will be thanking him for this later in the night :D

but i enjoyed it and would go again
