Why don't you like Pete? He is a nice guy and never causes an issue at the tables.

Was on his cash table last year during League State of Origin.....QLD won a tight game, he had a good payday from the result and shouted the table drinks!!!

Gotta love that guy!!!

Warnie bombs, loses poker face

RETIRED spin king Shane Warne has bombed out of the lucrative World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

When the cards didn't fall his way, he was bundled out after reaching day two of the tournament. He was not impressed by his early exit, venting his frustrations on his hotel room furniture.

``Absolutely steaming just got knocked out of day 2, had KQ flop came K,2,5 guy checked I bet he moved all in, called he had aces, horror!'' Warne tweeted.

``Want to kick the cat as I walk into my hotel room no cat, so kicked bed, ouch got the leg, now in pain, mentally and physically!! Horror.''
"Please, my Leftie friends. On no possible definition does cutting someone’s tax rate constitutute ‘giving’ them money."

First time I ever met him I was playing against him was on $5/$5 dealers choice at crown. Game was PLO-Hilo.

He flops top two, no redraw. I flop, nut low draw with redraw, nut straight draw, nut flush draw. Money goes in, I turn low, river wheel.

He berated me for a good 5 minutes after. It didn't phase me, apart from making me think he was a tool. Obviously PLO is not his strong suit, but he should have more class than that, especially someone of his skill and experience.

I've run into him a few times since then, and not had any real problems (he tries to bet me out of pots alot), but then I had a situation in the Hachem Deepstack last year where I KO'ed of his of poker friends (quite an attractive lady) and he started berating me from the rail, obviously remembering me.

Yes I beat you in a single hand, scooped runner runner.
Get over it.

Having said that, his tourny results at crown speak for themselves. He is a very good tourny player.

Good news (Aaron)

Suit up Tony!

Posted 1 minute ago by BlocoDaBarra

When we arrived at the table the flop spread [as][10d][9d] and Tony Dunst fired a 35,000-chip bet. His opponent called and saw a [5h] hit the felt on the turn.

The river card was a [6d] and Tony moved all in for about 190,000 chips.

His opponent tank-folded and Dunst is now up to 565,000 chips.

Shortly after posting that hand, Tony appeared near the top of the leaderboard with 1.1 million. Either a mistake or a quick double up.

The Man with the Golden Gun

Posted 2 minutes ago by donpeters

Tony Dunst has just taken his stack well over the million-chip mark with back-to-back hands and he was ever so kind to give us the scoop on what happened.

According to Dunst, action folded around to the button and he raised to 10,500. Dunst called from the big blind and the two saw a flop come [as] [td] [9d]. Dunst checked and the button bet 15,000. Dunst check-raised to 50,000 and his opponent called. The turn brought the [5h] and Dunst fired 75,000. His opponent called again. The river completed the board with the [6d] and Dunst fired another bullet to win the pot, but that wasn't the big hand.

On the very next hand, action folded to Dunst in the small blind and he made it 13,500 to go. Isaac Krantz was in the big blind and called. The two of them saw the flop come down [10d] [6d] [2s] and Dunst fired 18,000. Krantz raised to 41,000 and Dunst called. The turn was the [3c] and Dunst check-called a bet of 100,000.

The river completed the board with the [kc]and Dunst check-called an all-in shove from Krantz. Dunst held top two pair with [k x] [t x] and won the massive pot worth over 1.1 million in chips.

Dunst now has around 1.12 million. Krantz was left with around 600,000.
