S2 SA Semi Finals - FULL HOME & AWAY QUALIFIERS LIST

Question for everyone....sorry if this has already been asked. I am not complaining but:

Why is it that top 5 places from all "away" games qualified but it seems like everyone who ever played a single "home" game has qualified?

Does this mean as long as you play 10 away games and at least one home game you can qualify for semis?

its the removing of people who have already qualified somewhere else which makes it seem like people who have played only 1 game qualify.

ie, say I was 10th, but people 1-9 had already qualified elsewhere, I sneak thru.

Thanks Matt, I had an inclination this was the case.

But I guess the part that is really confusing me is why do ten+ people from each online tournament qualify for the semis when only five qualify from away games? If you have a look at the semi qualifier list on pages 30-31, there seems to be a lot of people who have qualified. (ie: there is 20 alone in the warmdown)

Daily events maybe?

So Monday's Warmdown has 5, Tuesday's 5, etc etc.

Yeah, pretty much every online event runs seven days a week. So that would be the qualifiers for all days for that particular event.

And to clarify further, I believe it is only the top 5 of each individual daily event that qualifies. So for example the AK rebuy, 7 days x 5 qualifiers = 35 qualifiers minus all that have qualified elsewhere, which means maybe only 10 unique qualifiers. I don't think that you qualify if you came 6th on say Monday's AK rebuy over the season, and someone in the top 5 qualifies elsewhere, as it is only the top 5 for home events....

Yep no-one is bumped up for the online games as far as I know - ie if someone qualifies at an away venue, as well as an online 'venue', their name comes off the online game (if the away finish was higher, of course), but no-one is bumped up for the online game.

I got a bit disheartened that I missed out on qualifying through the away games, only to realise that I made it through the online qualifiers (unexpectedly).
