i think this is wrong but ill get ur advise about rasing

hi i been playing in my local venus for the last few months. when ever im on the final table and the TC are dealing they make us call a raise when
i think its not a raise ill explain.

Blinds 5k 10k a few people call 10k and they get around to the big blind and he goes all in for a total of 12k now the TC now say its 10k more to call total 20k. i could be wrong but i thought since its not rasied to 20k+ its not counted a raise and reopen the betting. see players like me limp in on butting with AA knowing bigblind going to do that wait for everyone to go 20k then i push all in for 100k

In Terms of the ruling. If it is preflop, then you only have to call up to the bet of 12k, not to 20k. But if you have already acted in the calling of the 10k, and it is reraised after it, you cannot reraise to 100k as the betting round has not been reopened by the all in.

E.g 4 players
P1 call 10k, P2 with AA calls 10k, p3 all in for 12k, p4 calls.

p1 and p2 can only complete to 12k. P2 cannot reraise to 100k as he has had his action, and the betting has not been reopened

that is definitely NOT a raise, you should have the option to either call the 12k or fold. after you put in the extra 2k, the betting is NOT reopened.



having to put in 20k is just ridiculous.

thank you yeah i know i was right iv even tryed to explaing to the TC.
they have cost me a few tournments in last 2 weeks because of it.
as in i was small blind for 15k big blind was 30k someone went all in for 32k and said its now 40k to call.
i woulda called the 17k but not the 25k with 69 would taking out 4 players instead someone chicped up bigtime.

Given the original reasoning it would then be 60k not 40k if it was true that you needed to double the blinds given that blinds are 15k 30k. I have had this exact argument at venues before that you have the choice of just calling and not having to bet at least double the blinds in this situation ( not at my local 888 venues but else where.) This is why it is so important that the TD knows the rules because as you said some rulings can have a big impact on the tournament.
I had one game that I played (different league) where I pushed all in as small blind for 25k with blinds 10/20k. Big blind proceeded to push all in and when I advised him he only needed to put in 5k he became very abusive and insisted he wanted to be all in. I tried to explain why this was not necessary and then the moron who was TD advised that I could not stop another player going all in and I should let them play there cards how they wanted . I was just so over it and knew he had me smashed I said fine go all in. He did we turned over, he had aces, and then I said now take back your other 100k as I cant win that. Should have let it stay there as I won the hand with my jack ten with two pair and I think he was too stupid to realize that I could not win it all.

If blinds were 10,000/5,000 & you only had 8,000 . they would still have to bet 10,000 .
but being 10,000/5,000 . big blind raise/small/button raise to 12,000 all-in . Then they would only have too put in extra 2,000 .
Some-one who is all in ,in that case , others only need to call . not double
