For the haters in this thread vvvvvvvvv

Some old school Kev for the Victory Fans out there!!!

Meh, we all Know Premier League is better - but lets face it - at least ALL teams in the A league have a chance at the Title (not just a select few owned by billionaires)!!!

Exactly!!!!!
Why follow such a poor version of the game?
Why post in a thread if you dont give a crap about it?
Seriously, if you dont wanna do it just dont, no reason why others cant.
I think that the NRL is full of overpayed wankers who play a technically easy and tactically shallow sport with close to no value as a spectator sport. But you dont here me complaining.
Write your own 'i hate soccer' thread for all i care.
LOL
Not 100% sure where the 'I hate soccer' idea came from, also scratching my head as to where the "NRL VS A-League" theme came from, but moving beyond that, the only point made here by myself and jakovasaurus was that as far as Soccer goes, the A-League is pretty "bottom shelf".

I'll join even though my team will be crap
Despite not being as high profile I find the A-league entertaining

Will join up too. Team is looking awesome and cant wait for the first game of the season on thursday night
Sydney have a very strong team, a slightly weakened defence without Colosimo, so we could see them conceed quite a few more goals.
Melbourne are looking very poor this year, i predict a fight between them and Fury for the Wooden Spoon(This may just be Adelaide bias)
The Adelaide team is suffering from quite a number of injuries and wont have a fully fit team. with 3-4 first teamers out of the first round match. From the looks of it Coolen will be playing a 4-2-3-1 in the same formation as Vidmar did. Hopefully he will realise it wont work.

Re: A-League Season 2010/2011
A quick tip for people, dont forget 1 team has a bye every round. No use losing points if you can help it.
Alot of people will get in trouble having a very strong first team with players who dont play on the bench. Then with only 2 transfers a week they will have weeks they cant change all 3 on the bye team.

As much as I hate Melbourne I dont think they will be as bad as the Fury and the Roar, that being said Melbourne winning the spoon will be as good as seeing Muscat miss the penalty in the shootout.
Cheers for the tip Torak I didnt realise that thers a bye. I struggled with the salary cap
