But like Trishan said...once your name is online it's possible to find out who is who.

A simplified list won't change that

What about the current set-up Ben? If I am playing anyone online, I know if I wanted to find out their real name that all I have to do is go to the 888pl website, go to the scoreboard for the particular game, look through the list till I find their name. It is pretty time consuming. A search feature would be so much easier.

If there is a privacy concern, I think you can just as easily have an opt-out feature like PS or FT for player searches.

No probs mate, but we do play in a league, and as such it is normal to have a register of league members with full details. It is not about others playing your profile, just an easy way to find out who you are playing against....

Not sure on the privacy issue because with a bit of digging it is information that is usually available on the site at the moment. I suppose it would depend if it is in the t & c that by becoming an online user of 888pl that your name may be available to others. As results are published I think that this would already be in there.
