ok matty thats the moon - gonna have to come up with something better than that :D

and the middle of antarctica is actually the driest place on earth!!!!

there are some valleys there where precipitation has not fallen for millions of years - horrendously strong winds make sure anything falling there gets carried away before it hits the ground.

the atacama desert in western chile is the driest "conventional" place but doesnt come close to antarctica
