Previously suspended player permitted to play in 888PL GF

I personally don't have a problem with him playing. He would have to be under a "ANY sign of misbehaving and you are suspended indefinitely" type clause though....

For any suspended player returning to the league that stipulation is in place, and he is well and truly aware of its' importance regarding the Grand Final.

A couple of things have been brought to my attention by fairly well known and respected player who believes he should not be allowed to play but wishes to remain anonymous. While I do not know for sure that the information I have been given is accurate, I think it is important to take into consideration.

I am told that the player in question has been suspended on more than just these two occasions.

3.) Has played more than ten games since his return to the league and is a regular participant at two venues and plays approx 2 - 4 games per week.

According to the 888PL website, he has only played 7 away games since the 1st of July (which means even I have played more away games than he has!) Am I missing something here Garth? It shows results for only 1 venue not 2? Surely there would be someone checking that direct buy-ins have met qualification criteria?

Good point, but he does have plenty of time to play the 3 games needed...

Sure but Garth's OP suggests that since coming back he has played 2-4 games per week at multiple venues but his online stats say otherwise. So either the online stats are wrong or Garth's been given inaccurate information.

Ok - said player should stop talking through third parties and step up and name themselves for starters, seeing as they were the ones threatening to take it public. I have opened up discussion here for this particular member. ANd if this "respected" person is willing to broadcast the suspended players name then I have no issues naming them in this thread.

Take that as a warning.

CORRECTION: player has participated in two venues, he has also played 14 games during the qualification period and was suspended for the majority of it. Player was suspended form April to July.

Player has only been suspended twice, i have no idea where other dates of suspensions have been listed.

All players have been checked to ensure that they play 10 games from last GF to this GF.

CORRECTION: In this case this player has played 12 games over this period and is now only playing one game per week.

I was only passing on information supplied via data in my gf player history report.

Ok, I'm not reading the back and forth that is going on here, but from the OP:

Seems all he did is swear and act abusively towards players. While this is not ok, it is still less than say, physical violence upon a fellow player (if that were the case I would think that no one would want him back).

He served his time, seems to have calmed down his temper and is supporting the league - a lot more than some players these days.

Let him play.

Given the very public stance the 888PL has taken on abuse in any form, I don't think that is the message they want to convey.
