Letters and Numbers SBS 6pm weekdays

Postby Brett Kay » Wed Aug 18, 2010 6:01 pm

Anybody watching this show?

Only reason why i got interested is one of my players from the OC was on it. Was interested to see how he went, bombed out in the semi finals. Unlucky though.

Quick synopsis.

The game is made of 6 rounds and a conundrum round.

3 Rounds of Letters alternating with 3 rounds of numbers finishing with the word conundrum.

The letters rounds let the player chose consonants and vowels and whoever can make up the longest word wins the points.

The numbers rounds let the player chose small (1 to 10) and larger (25,50,75,100) and only using the numbers once in the equation to create the target number.

Pretty much a measure of whoever can think the quickest.

The miniclip game Anagramatical is similar to the word rounds. But haven't found any online games for the numbers side.

Watched this a few times in the UK. Quite liked it, but haven't caught an ep here yet.

Might do so in 30 mins :)

I used to love watching this show in the UK (Carol Vordeman - the thinking man's crumpet). Only saw it on SBS the first time the other night, and only get to watch it if the Mrs isn't watching Poh's Kitchen or Deal etc.
