I agree....I've so far NEVER had my aces cracked when playing live (as opposed to online where any clown will call anything).
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

my two cents is a made up pair in ur hand is better then trying to hit a pair on the board and what better pocket pair to have then aces i say.. you dont go in short stack on AA especially in a free role tournament there is something wrong lol.

Look at the options:
2 Royal Flush Draws
2 Flush Draws
2 Straight Draws (AKQJ10 and 5432A)
Full house draws
Two pair draws

Yes im being sarcastic :)

Your missing the point. Your on the bubble with one player guaranteed to be crippled or short stacked, but if you call your putting your tournament life on the line.

with AA KK or maybe even QQ I'd take the punt. Anything else I'd fold quicker than you could say 'origami master'

so your expecting us all to say that we fold the aces? I think we all got the point and have expressed our opinions as we see fit.

Another point to not folding is, you have more than likely got one of the other players dominated and also expecting to be against lower pockets, Easy decision in my book.

Also at this stage of a tourney the people pushing will more than likely be on AK and high pockets so my theory still plays. 3/1 odds on rockets has my chips in 100% of the time.

So if your short on chips, and the two players have both pushed all in, both short stacks. Your not big blind for at least 4-5 hands.

The bubble if he gets knocked out, and you have a chance to win
A.100
b. 2000
c. 30000
d. 1 000 000

or e. a 20 000 WSOP package.

at what point does Aces become pointless to the dollars to be won. I left the buy in out, for this reason as it shouldn't affect the outcome.

Still going to call, when you have a chance to win 1million? Or if you can win a 20k WSOP package, the same as everyone else?

Or your going to call, and if you lose on the outdraw, going to walk away with nothing?

Interesting to hear the thoughts on it.

i've only had AA once in my NPL career, so you could bet your bottom dollar i'm going to play it if it comes in to town. if it gets cracked, oh well, better luck next time. if it comes through, then i can fold my way till a prize.
