Just thought it could add a little more interest. Though it was interesting to see how different tables played the second game to the first. I.e. some tables tightened right up whereas mine was looser than a prostitute on Hindley Street! We were down to 3 handed still playing the 200/400 level.
Personally I liked going back to the same table. I think that you would of found the tightning/loosening effect anyway depending on how the team went in Rd 1. Players in teams that ran bad in Rd 1 would of had nothing to lose by going very aggressive, conversly leading teams would have tightened to a certain extent.

I found it interesting that the results (where players finished) in Round 1 & Round 2 were, on the whole, completely different. The fact that players played each other again in Round 2 certainly did not produce the same results.

Good point Tim. It also gave opportunity for a little revenge for Rd1. We had some fun with a little stirring concerning bad beats and poorish/lucky play in first round.(all in good fun I must say)

Too true Tim. In our team I think Gordy and myself were the most consistent with myself having a 2nd and a 3rd and Gordy 2 x 2nds. But the actual dynamics and finishing spots on my table were completely different from round 1 and 2.

Gordy played very well Matt and was unlucky not to get atleats one win, got his money in good and was spot on with his timing too.

A huge thanks to all the teams for getting together & coming down for what I thought was a really enjoyable event. Well done also to Sin 2 Win & Mistress Poker who finished 3rd & 4th respectively and also to Red Rum & MITH Poker who were just 1 point away from making the round 3 freeze out.
Thanks to everyone and lets hope we can make this a successful event at least a few times a year.
Cheers, Tim.

If we didn't have these guys competing it would be like AFL comprising only Victorian Teams.
ABSOLUTELY !!!
Started my poker in that other league with most of these guys before I saw the light... Craig Ivey, Rob Lark, George, Rino, know them well...and most of us know Carmine..it'll be good to catch up with them again, and then Smashing 'em !!!!
REALLY looking forward to this now. These are good people, and they know their stuff, make no mistake, this is a good team.
Bugger !!
I knew these words would come back to bite me !!!
LOL
Congrats again guys. well done
Stupid game..... Never playing again

Re: 888PL TEAMS EVENT $4000 Guaranteed in GF Tickets!!!
I forgot to make a special mention to a few people during the event.
Firstly to the lady in the centre of the room during round 2 who wins the "Best Celebration Scream" so far this year. I love it!! That's why Teams events are so much fun. People playing not just for themselves but doing it for the team. That was Gold!!
A close runner was Peter Masi who misheard what I said over the mic and started a celebration all of his own. The elastic from the cat mask was apparently hampering his hearing.
And thirdly to Lincoln & Caleb for their work during the day ensuring the event was a success. Thanks guys!
