The bad beat stories start...

Postby Nevah play JJ » Sat Aug 28, 2010 2:12 pm

I just heard the most unlucky bad beat story from the Grand Final..
Maybe this is where the bad beat stories can start?

Hmmm, I read this:

our reporter rushed over to one of the outer tables where three players were all-in on a flop of 7c Kc 3h; Julie Monaghan rolled up 3s 3d, only to find herself behind the 7s 7d of Anthonly Syrianos - but they were both behind Nathan Desria's Ks Kd!

This one has to sting tho...
We've also seen ULULUL take a trip out the door after he open-shoved preflop for his last 2000b chips with {Ac}{Kh}. He found three callers and they all checked the whole way down the {Ax}{Tx}{3x}{Jx}{5x} board. XXXXXX tabled {Jh}{5h} and her two pair was good enough to take Cusciera out of the 888PL Main Event.

OMG... their suited.... CALL! :lol:
In a GF???
I can see hands like this every friday night for free, would expect slightly better in a $500 a seat event with a $210,000 prizepool...
Although... if she had a huge stack and was the 3rd caller, whats that? about 3.5:1 on a call? Nope, still in the muck...
Maybe thats why Im not there?? :o

and this one:
All the money was in the middle on a flop that read Ah 7d 5h and we got there just in time to see the cards being tabled:
Ad Ac
6s 4h
The turn was a heart-shattering 3s, giving XXXXX an unlikely straight.

How many here would call for their tourney life IN THE 1st LEVEL, on an open ender???

If they weren't then they could have been far off as this is one of the 1st hands mentioned...

But not funny for the dude with a set of Aces... I saw your face at the Semis when that dude flopped Jacks full against your QQ... You werent laughin!

But who is doing the reporting?
Chris Trudgeon then sent Mornsigneur to the rail after he flopped trip queens holding {Qx}{7x} on a board of {Qx}{Qx}{8x}{Tx}{3x} against Mornsigneur's {Jx}{9x}.

Ummm.... doesnt a straight beat trips?
Been a few 'odd comments' in there so far.

Lucky the guy who got his set of Aces knocked off as a 72% favourite, didnt go Jackie Chan on his opponent's ass...
Cant say Id be too calm there... Atleast a comment would be forthcoming...

Hmmmm... No ties, so win% is equity:
Board: Ah 7d 5h
Hand 0: 72.020% { AcAd }
Hand 1: 27.980% { 6s4h }

Yeah... top call dude...
Although I am assuming it was a call, perhaps he pushed first and just got very very lucky... It doesnt say who shoved 1st.
