I made the FT of a live 888PL cash game and had to pick my mum up from the airport. As the airport is not far and I had a massive stack I asked to be blinded out until I returned.
The top 5 were paying. Unfortunately (bloody Tiger) my mum's flight was delayed and I couldn't get back. I later found out I came 6th.
While I am sure there would have been some sort of collusion around the bubble (everyone agreeing to wait until my stack was done), I don't really think I can complain although cashing while not there would have been nice!
The problem with 888 is that it still doesn't fold an all-in dead stack and I have seen dead stacks go on to cash well by getting lucky.
