Table Etiquette

Postby pmk » Wed Sep 01, 2010 1:32 am

During the GF I was playing with a majority of Victorians at my table and despite me mentioning it several times, players were grabbing their change from the pot as soon as they threw chips in.

Now I know that people in other states do it too, but in this case the Victorians found it difficult to break the habit.

Is there anyway that this can become part of the pre-game spiel and then re-enforced by TC interaction with the players in ALL states?

I think Victorians are very opposed to change...except of course when they are taking it from the pot...

Working on this problem slowly. It's just a matter of training and I see it happen as often i other states as I do in Vic.

Once again; If you have certain issues with your table then you should come over and speak to the floor or TD and we will monitor that table and fix the issues you are experiencing.

I love how they stole the Grand Prix, but then we just went and made a race that is bigger and better than the F1 anyway!

In terms of attendance, australian ratings, money generated, atmosphere the clipsal smashes the F1. In all of those categories in which they measure how 'big' an event is, the clipsal is better. And i like Formula 1, but these are facts.

Your facts are all relative. And stupid.

Because Formula 1 is awesome and V8s are not.

I would like to see your sources regarding attendance and " atmosphere" though. Maybe another thread so I don't hijack this one any further.
