Back on topic...

Pete I saw a lot of this also. Makes it difficult when people do this and then there's a re raise etc. While it can be a little more difficult on a 10 seater if the dealer is sitting at the end but it should be the dealer touching the chips no one else once they have placed a bet.

At the GF I was in the lucky position of seat 1 for most of Day 1 so had the job of collecting the Antes. I always double checked them so the whole table could see.

Probably the worse venue I have seen this at on two occasions was at Merbein Citizen club while up there on business. And it did my head in. I said something and I ended up having to give up.

Having an arguement over something that happened 15 years ago is bad table etiquette. Especially when you can't even get what happened right.
