I think the tickets in 89 for Metallica were $27 or 33 . Ha inflation , commercialism , capitalism
most headbangers would say SELLOUTISM

Mind you most of the people around my age would not of owned a record or listened too or known who they were (unless had a metal m8) till mid too late 90's/2000's

Funny how things change .

G'day ,
Now i can hear again , Whilst we only watched 15 minutes of the 1st support band . We all went up on the roof " smoking area " Until Exodus started setting up/ sound check . They played for well over 2 hours . The 1st bloke too stage dive was given a ribbing by Rob (the singer ) saying it was the gayest attempt @ stage diving he had ever seen . So he had another go ,only to be told still lame .
Mind you this band @ Ruthies Bar & Grill in S/F u.s.a .The crowds in the early 80,s used to smash bottles on stage , Then dive onto the stage ."arghh the GOOD OLD DAYS " The band could start Riots if they wanted to .
eg. 1 day the singer said he wanted too see a dead poser . So some of the crowd went outside , found some person wearing spandex & well that was it .

The band are down to earth , How often could you stand around talking to Band members after a show ? Happy to sign things & have their photo's taken with people . 5/5

ps. Kirk Hammett , was originally in this band be4 being poached by Metallica . which is a good thing
