So, he went to the Tonsley with Mary, and played. Ended up 3rd, and got in.

And it was me that told him about Tonsley :D

But what about the playing playing at this new venue and/or night? Don't they deserve to be playing for something from day 1?

I'm not saying that i agree, or disagree... but I understand why the seats are given out.

In an ideal world.. all new nights/venues would start in week 1 of a season. But I'm sure a lot of places would like to start up immediately and it is unfair to the people that will actually play at the venue to not receive anything for their efforts.

Just trying to show the other side of the coin here and not cause any arguement, as i said, I don't really have an opinion on this issue. An extra 10 people is only a 1.5% increase on numbers.

Personally I love that you can get that last chance to qualify for states.

I thought about it myself, as it turns out, glad I didn't. But will be on the lookout at the end of this season for last chances to qualify (although I will have a seat already by then!!)

Kosta - I think it's fair to say that there's a lot of people on here who might not know you so terms such as 'bunch of clowns' could easily be taken in a different context to what you might have intended.

Having a go perhaps isn't the best method of getting your point across :P

Shannon (if that's even you typing that) - this isn't a place for people to just have a whinge. Constructive debate is very much welcome. Whinging for the sake of it isn't.
Pardon me, but I think you'll find that's a shovel. See you next Tuesday!

If I dont agree with particular things then I express my feelings about them. Am I in the right place to do this. Isnt this a players forum? I totally disagree about a new venue that runs for 2 weeks and 5 people can qualify for it. This is my opinion! For starters it isnt even a new venue coz they play there every monday evening. Its not that it worries me personally coz I have qualified its just not fair for others. Again this is my opinion! Should I keep my opinions inside of me? No! My mistake about the brighton metro ladies night but thankyou to those who replied and cleared that up. The term I used 'bunch of clowns'.. well all im going to say is you should know me better than think im having ago at NPL. Moreover, like I stated earlier.. I have the right to have a say whether it may be positive or negative. :)

So...tempting... to...reply...to...this...post... :P

I'm going to stop myself here and say that I agree with Tsuzyu that we should (and we do) have the right to post our opinion, be it positive or negative (and no one was really calling that into question, anyway). On the other hand, I can see how NPL Staff can be offended by the odd post now and then decreeing their system.
