If it's an email direct to yourself, then it's got nothing to do with anyone but.. yourself.
I got the same thing as a private message, and I got an email notification to say I have a new private message. The email notification is from "the forum", the contents are not.
I've already forwarded it to David (check your private messages Dave, you slacker).
