Could do an auction, but value add to the ticket. i.e. the highest bidder (set the reserve at 1k) also gets to play 3 HU SNG games against Warney for some kind of signed 888 merch.

I know there would be lots willing to pay for this experience. Doesn't have to be held before the charity event either, could be at the next GF that warney plays at for example (his time would have already been bought).

get 52 people to pay a set amount between $25-$50 to pick a card from a deck of cards.

A card is then drawn from another deck of cards and whoever matches that card wins the prize.
I know it is pretty random, but best I could come up with.

you have to be in Melbourne to play on the 31st so have the draw before the event.

You could even have 104 places two decks.
Card is drawn from 3rd deck.
2 people will have the matching card and then a heads up highest card wins a hachem/warne ticket 2nd place gets a 888pl GF.

I honestly think out of all the available options it is the only one that should get a positive ROI (where we assume the investment is $1000).

You have 70 people paying $10 online each night. How many more didn't play because they had work the next day or it finished too late? You only need 100 people to make 2 guesses ($10) to break even and the rest is profit.

I can easily see people with $50 making 10 guesses. $50 ==> $1000 is very good value.

Yeh the graph is of the maximum value you could hop to achieve. If 888 make a decision soon they could get the photo out into tonight's away games and tomorrow away games. I think they would have to announce a winner Friday midnight.

Really push online sources: website/forum/FB to get people to guess online.
