I came second to Beau Belle who played an excellent game. Went into heads up and she had me out chipped 5:1 so knew it was going to be a struggle. Came back to even but was not meant to be.

2:40 am and 3 remain. Currently coming 3rd but not a great deal in it.

Nah all good. I had 3 hours sleep before going to work that day and for him to say what a brilliant job I had done just reinforced to me that I am right and he is wrong.If poker was affecting my play I would be the first to cut back. I am happy with that satisfaction that I was right and really if it takes for him to think he is right to get where I want to be so be it.

I have had feed back from him and major management that the work I have done filing in at a senior role has really impressed and they see me going places. I only had this opportunity due to the faith another manager had in me. My old manager has always known what I was capable of and perhaps it is a bit of insecurity that has caused him to behave in a negative way. Most other managers had no idea how much I did or what I was capable of as I was working nights in the past which meant that I did not interact with them much. I am the type of person who just sees something needs doing or fixing , doing it and then moving on without needed to announce to the world that I have done it.

I have said it before and I will say it again I work for a great company and I look forward to growing with them. I am not going to let the little things get in the way of this happening. I am going to continue to give my best ( while still enjoying playing a game that I love).
