Sorry but without gender icons next to the posts I have no idea who (if any) are girls. I was just covering myself.
EDIT: After posting and rereading my post I realised it wasn't helping anything so I deleted it.

And who is blowing things out of proportion now mate?
I don't want to argue with you. So I'm also saying nothing more on the matter. See you on the felt somewhere.

Re: The LOWEST ranked state finals seat ??
I see I have missed much today.
What Kosta states is exactly right, the delays in updating the website and the continued advertisement on the website of several outdated concepts and prizes is problematic. It is also very unprofessional as far as I am concerned.
To all player's we do apologize but all staff have been told of the prize pool details across the board and should have been announcing them across the state. If they haven't then again that is ultimately my responsibility and I am accountable for it.
I would also like to add that every player and staff member is entitled to rant now and again, opinions are crucial to every individual; it's what makes us individuals. And when I say rant, it is not in a negative context, most of the staff let things build up and eventually they will explode and have a rant at me, letting all things bothering them out in the open, and it is healthy to do so.
What Kosta said was fine, it was his opinion and in my personal opinion I agree with him, but from the companies perspective I think it was a good trial (and no it wasn't a marketing ploy, two venues wanted to sign an additional day at these times and it happened at the end of the season, so I said trial it.).
If my reply was in any way perceived as derogatory or biting I do apologize. I myself have read posts in a negative light when there was nothing negative really said in them.
And about all of the personal insults that were apparently flying, I just think everyone needs to take a deep breath and someone has to apologize first. This will not be the last time player's and/or staff flair up at each other and it will happen again.
In regards to the State Final Prizes been advertised, and if that is a huge dilemna, we will more than likely run with that prize pool and transfer to the cash prize pool next season.
We did have something else planned but we will play it safe, and Kosta is right it can be construed as false advertising even though we have advertised to players that the website is incorrect on a multitude of occasions.
I am sorry for any comments that I have made that may be taken as a personal affront to any player's or staff, and if anyone has taken any offense to anything myself or a staff member has said please do not hesitate to contact me or head office.

Re: The LOWEST ranked state finals seat ??
Thanks Garth
I think if anyone has a major issue with the NPL its best to take it up with Garth directly... at least that way people here wont take things the wrong way and have a huge argument.
NPLSA was originally created so people can talk about poker and help the NPL grow poker in Sth Aust.
Lately things just keep turning into one fight or another. And yes i've probably fueled that fire because i keep trying to get my point across. Yeh I'm a little passionate about the game too, like a lot of people here.
So I'll apologise if i've pissed anyone off (including the Cougar).
The bottom line is... we are here to play poker. We are all students of the game and we play because we enjoy it. Ultimately I just wish everyone would get along and just play some decent cards and enjoy everything that comes with the game.
<end rant / 2 cents worth>

Also I would like to add that the moderators on here have absolutely nothing to do with the npl.com.au website or are employees of any type of NPL.
They are player's who moderate and supervise and maintain this forum.
