Raffi Builds a Weber

Postby Swanky » Sat Nov 13, 2010 5:04 pm

Well, it's been a few weeks and I finally got to get the Weber I got for my birthday up and built.
Luckily Raf was on hand to help me out!

Downside is, the warm weather we had all week went south and it's been raining pretty much none stop since yesterday morning. And since the missus' new place has no verandas or carports or any protection from the elements yet, it means I can't cook the huge chicken I had planned for today. :(

hopefully it will clear up for tomorrow so I can light up this bad boy and make my first feast!

Nice.

I googled your beer can chicken - looks interesting, particularly when you start adding herbs/garlic etc to the beer!

good luck with the weather :D

I know, I'm going to be using some "Seasonal" tomorrow, as a starter, then over the next few weeks, I'll experiment with different things.
Need to work out heat and cooking times etc.
This is going to be fun!

I also read one where they used Dr. Pepper, and since I do love me some Dr. Pepper, it will be big on the to do list!

I am a regular 'drunk chook' cooker, my favourite would have to be Jim Beam and Dry.
