these will be only my personal opinions as it suits my family life at this stage

10 or 11 am start finishing around 6pm ( that puts adelaide people home at 8 ish)

having the tourney run over lunch should increase the amount of meals they sell, but would also mean you would need a lunch break where a 12.30 start you wouldnt have one, but the club may not sell as many meals ( i wish to see them do well out of this)

while im right up for super deep stack play, my family life does not alow this anymore so im not really up for a super long event, but not super turbo either.

Straight buy in is better i belive with no re buy or add on, and im fine with it being $20, i would think most would.

in terms of prizes, becuse the grand final is in melb im not sure if 2 x 500 tickets will be as good a draw card as a 1k first prize ( or something like that) personally i dont care either way, if it ends up as tickets i will probably have to sell it anyway.

i always love a bounty event, any chance...
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

finishing at 6 might mean people dont hang around for a dinner meal possibly. Finishing it later will mean they have heaps of meals at dinner. Im not really fussy either way anyway.

As an Adelaide person, if it ended at 6, I'd probably hang for 45 mins to eat dinner then drive back.

I agree with Krunchie a 10 -11 start is the best, with a conclusion around 6-7 would be best.

A $20 buyin with a 20K SS would be very attractive .

Perhaps Neville could consider a Smorgasborg Lunch thus ensuring every player can get feed quickly, and the lunch break limited to 30min. Normally the club is closed for meals sunday evening

I'm going to post it here so other contractors can see the answer as well instead of a private email.

Are 888 TCs/Staff allowed to travel out and play in this event?

I actually have that Sunday off.
