Postby 666HARPS666 » Sat Dec 04, 2010 5:11 pm

G'day ,
I'd like to know people's thoughts on this one , It is one of the only things not to have changed , with so called equality .
If so why ? , & if not why not?

As an umpire in grade cricket, I think that of course women should be allowed to umpire... I see no special qualification that I have that a woman cant do.

bring it on ACB
Man who runs in front of car gets tired,
man who runs behind car gets exhausted.

I hope not I think it's a good question .
Seeing as Cricket is still pretty much all male run . i,e. the ICC , & other cricket boards .

I don't normal talk up on issues like this, in fear or sounding sexist, or unfair.

Bloody oath, female's that want, and try should be given a equal chance of been an umpire.

So hear's were I sound bad, and sexist. I however think women will fail just like in football calling the game on TV. Women should have the chance right? Think of the people who call the cricket and most football games. I believe, they are ex sporting heros of their game. So until female football, and female played cricket is made famous, women will not fit into the game, when it comes to calling it.

only a small % of umpires are ex players of any note, so umpiring should be more possible than comentating,

i say go for it
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

womens cricket enjoys a significantly higher profile than women's football, which already has female umpires, so i cant see an issue at all with top flight women umpires.
