I just blindly reg'ed this tourney and did not notice that it is now $2+$0.20 and no guarantee.
Is this an error or will it remain this way for the forseeable future?
I personally loved the fact that it used to be a decent buy in ($8.80) & the guarantee made for a good pay day for the winner

there only used to be like 5 of us that played it though, so i can see why they lowered it.

It started getting up around 8-9 some nights, man I love(d) that tourney!!
It also started earlier tonight than last season, that in itself may have helped numbers (which were 17 or so) as much or more as the buy-in lowering.

it used to be even more fun because people clearly had no idea and the nightly omaha used to cover most of my other buyins
but now it will be good as its cheap and everyone can have a good time learning the game

i'm just loving the fact that it requires so much grey matter to figure out whatyou have and what they have, i actually feel smarter for playing lol, being a low stakes player i'm glad i have a chance to play these, i say we push for a razz tourney though hahaha

words of advice - only draw to nut hands, especially when you are drawing to straights, as non nut straights are rarely good.
be prepared to fold straights/flushes on paired boards.
if you want more advice on omaha, ask caleb or the murrins or the kays. they are all really good omaha players (which is why i try to stick to holdem playing against those guys
razz would be fun, although 888 dont even offer it.
omaha h/l would be fun though
