Netbook for sale

Postby David » Tue Mar 08, 2011 4:15 pm

Hey all

I'm selling my MSI Window U100 netbook.
Cost me $700ish when new (including RAM upgrade).

Beautiful little machine. benny the cunt uses the same one on the train, and on the couch as it weighs in at around 1kg. It's great for browsing the net, typing up documents or playing online poker.

I'll even throw in the bluetooth mouse/receive bundle I purchased recently.
And, if you want it, I'll throw in a 15" LCD monitor.

All up, yours for $250.

Cheers,

David

i can vouch for the fact that this is a great little netbook.

i run windows 7 on it, and it works fine, loads really quickly etc.

its great for having a laptop at the ready for browsing while you are on the couch etc, or if you go on the train.

if you are carrying it around you hardly notice its in your bag.

i have never had any issues running any office suite programs, although i have tried using some engineering programs such as MATLAB and it struggles a bit with this.

poker works fine on it - i have 4 tabled on it before but that was pushing it a bit. but 1-2 tables is fine.

i also have a bluetooth mouse, and they are cool because you dont need anything at all plugged into the USB ports, as the netbook as built in bluetooth.

keyboard is small, but really easy to type on once you get used to it.

battery life is also great, with general browsing it would be about 5 hours, and 3 hours if you are watching a movie.

would highly recommend for general browsing, word processing and poker. if you want to play games though, you might want a slightly larger laptop, but lets face it, this machine wasn't built for games. it does run movies without any noticable lag though

I can vouch for the fact that I spent an hour on one of these once and it was pretty cool.
