Shane Warne at 888PL Grand Final

888PL Management regretfully has to announce that Shane Warne won't be participating in the Main Event at this weekend's Grand Final. This is due to Shane's requirement to be at a Shane Warne Foundation charity event in New Zealand on Sunday raising money for those affected by the recent disaster in Christchurch. We at 888PL applaud Shane for his charitable work and support to those in need.

Shane will be still attending the Grand Final on both the Friday night and the Saturday. On Friday night he will be seated with 888PL players in event #1. Shane will have a bounty on his head in this event and will also be available for photos, autographs and meet and greet 888PL players.

Shane will be present on the Saturday during the registration period to welcome 888PL Grand Final players, sign more autographs and have more photos taken.

We at the 888PL hope all players are understanding and respectful of the reasons behind this decision.

I believe the event he attending in NZ is a charity cricket match hosted by the former NZ cricket team captain. Looks like it is going to be a spectacular event and raise some much needed funds for people of NZ effected by the quake. Hope it gets some TV time, looks like it is going to be great match to watch. Good on Warney for participated, he was the first (and headlining celeb) they named in the line up for the event and I doubt it could be the spectacle it's going to be with out Warne Foundations help.
