Fantasy Football 2011

Nice side. Pretty rookie mistake to have gold coast players in your starting side though lol. You got points from your emergencies though so placement of rookies wouldn't have mattered. Tarrant, lower and curnow were the rookies of round one, and you have two of them, so gotta be happy there.

I ended up with about 2050 I think. And considering selwood did crappy, and there will improvement in gooses, pav and reiwoldt then I'm pretty happy with my side. Plus rookies like atley, heppell and conca will only get better, so things are looking up.

Oh mate, that wasn't my starting 22 .. had Foley as Emergency for the loophole, no Gold Coast guys on the ground lol not that stupid .. Robbie Tarrant was on my bench so his score didnt count, Gaff and Atley were on the ground.. and Darling and Hurley were on the ground to, Tapscott on bench lol

Yeh wtf happened with Goodes? 58 to half time then just nothing afterwards? Went missing i guess?

Masten and Lecras got injured in the North game so Gaff should get alot more game time =D

2050, nice start also mate.

Are you considering any round 1 trades?

Not considering any trades in round one. Was lucky to have no injuries to speak of which was good. Given that we have another week to watch most players before price change and another two weeks to watch gold coast, Adelaide and whoever has the bye in round three's players, I might make a few sideways rookie trades on the bubble. This is already looking like a good year for cash cows, and GC haven't even played yet!!

i scored 2138, but that included deledio, cross, thompson, riewoldt, johnson, goodes all getting less than 83, which i cant see happening that often this season. (trengove getting 29 is also probably 40 below his eventual average)

happy with my rookies but tarrant was probably one that i didn't have but should have had. lower, tapscott, conca, and heppell started for me and all did pretty well. was also happy with darling bewick, richardson and duigan who all scored well. in fact all of my rookies scored more than 60 which i am damn happy about.

i have stanley, swallow, harris, nicholls and smith from gws so it will be interesting to see how they go.

as far as trades go, i am the same, might consider some sideways trades on the bubble but other than that my team is healthy and firing.

Hopefully Z. Smith plays .. dont think he's certain is he?

Only trade im considering is Enright for Mackie .. should of done it friday, such a wasteeeee .. i just dont know lol.

i am going to play both this week given that i have thompson out. i agree, swallow is going to be a gun though.

i agree that you should have done it before the season started :P, but i would wait until at least next week - there really is no point trading until you are on the price bubble unless you have j brown or porps who you want to get rid of.

from what i have heard, i think he will play, but they will probably rotate smith, gorringe, and nicholls through the rucks throughout the year - depends on how fraser goes i think.

Yeh i guess your right, if Mackie can better his 80 i'll be happy .. yeh! such a good move not getting the porpus this year .. i normally always have him .. the other good thing was B. Smith was Adelaides sub so he came on basically str8 away haha score!

But yeah, now that i think of it .. no use wasting a trade on fit players ... its a long season we'll need them later for sure. Might own stupid fault for not getting him before Friday. Meh.

the difference between mackies worst possible average prolly and enright's best would proably only be 20-25, so i dont think it would be worth trading - i think its better to concentrate on upgrading your cash cow rookies, which could get you a 40-50 point average jump.
