I have an idea for the online champs - maybe we could have an event where people qualify based on their standings in one of the online leaderboards?

it doesn't have to be the main event, because i think winning $30 for finishing top 4 on a leaderboard is giving away too much, but maybe we could have a freeroll tournament which is restricted to top 4 leaderboard placegetters, and works out to be $5 per seat?

or take it a step further and make it a $20 tournament for the first place getter only.


at the moment, there is no incentive for winning an online leaderboard, and i think it would be cool if there was something attached to it. (i think qualification to the live state final was a bit too much of a prize also)

what do you think?

bit like the challenge semi final used to be maybe benny the cunt ( which imho, was the much better and more important of the two anyway 8-) )
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

It does seem pointless to have leaderboards for the online games if there is nothing to win. Qualification for online finals/championships of some sort would be a logical reward for finishing high on a leaderboard. There are a number of people who think they have qualified for the state finals (live) because the have finished top four of a home board.
