That would have been a great spectacle to witness.
Did I hear a quote on the news last night saying that the F1 was unofficially timed at 17secs quicker than last years fastest lap by a V8 Supercar?

It did it in 1:48, but is not an official record. The official lap record is 2:10 I think. He also wasn't pushing hard at all.
