Season Turnarounds

Postby bennymacca » Fri Mar 14, 2008 2:02 pm

Hey all,

just wondering if anyone has had a massive season turnaround for either better or worse.

in the first half of this season, i was on holidays, so i played around 3 times a week. In 13 games up to week 5, my average was a paltry 16.6 across all games, and only 14.02 at my regular venue.

at that stage, i was actually getting a bit pokered out, and because i wasnt winning, it basacally put me on tilt.

so after week 5, i cut it down to once a week, and also stopped playing online, and whadda ya know, the turnaround in my results has been pretty astonishing.

All up, in 5 games in 4 weeks, my average is 34.27 (more than double my first half average), with my 4 games at the regular venue averagind 30.96 points a game (our region leaders have a total average of around 27 a game, not counting the top 15 thing) - from outside the top 20 at the midpoint of the season, i am in contention for a state finals spot, providing i do well this coming sunday night.

i have my form back baby!!

just wanting to know if anyone else has had a massive turnaround, for better or worse!
