To be honest, and thanks for the thoughts, if your not actually in the hand, the game is quite boring. Elvis even brings his super computer chess set along- adds another dimension to having fun.

I've started playing new venues and meeting tons of new friends and catching up with old aquaintences. Last night I played on the same table as a 1st time newbie and WOW was she having fun.

Didn't have the experience so didn't over complcate matters. If she thought she had a chance of winning she had a crack. Monster stack one minute, stuff all the next. It was refreshing. Those players that changed their game strategies and plans to acknowledge her presence did well, those that continued to try and push hard get washed away. I personally saw her take out 7 players. And there was still a smile, even when she lost.

For the sake of everyone (Bob B, Bacon etc,) I will now provide earplugs for anyone who wants them.

The Cougar will be at the Tea Tree Gully Hotel 5pm this Sunday.
Come and play with, and watch, one of the best.

Last shave was 1892.

I'm thinking of offering a "shave the cougars beard" as a bounty one night. I'm also sure that if it was using a razor the turnout at the venue would be massive. Bob B, Gail, Garth, Moose etc etc would be fighting each other to sit at my table and put me out.

The thought of cutting my throat would be impossible to resist for some people.

Haaaaa

The Cougar- I'll ring the Pub and find out for sure what time kickoff starts.
