Ashes twice in 9 months, sounds awesome but massive potential to burn the iconic status of the series.

i reckon it will be great - obviously its a once off due to the world cup, but it should be awesome, especially if the games are close and we dont get spanked :D

Bit different to finishing in July (august?) then kicking off again in December (maybe Nov?)

By 9 months, I meant all done and dusted, not from end-to-start

We did something similar against SA a few years back I think, but that doesn't generate the FTA coverage the Ashes does. If the teams are even closely matched, should be incredible.
