Super Series (Gr888 Series)

This has been touched on before, but last night only 16 players in the Thursday Deepstack.
Just an idea to maybe get numbers and as a lead up to future online championships.
The month leading up to the championship have $15 entry for the Deepstacks on Tues and Thurs, but $4 goes into a pool divided amongst the leading players for that period. could even use the normal 888pl points calculator.
Would only be around 8 events but should interesting.
Results could be posted on the forum/facebook/website etc.
Would build up interest towards the online championship too.
Either have the payout as based on points accumulated or even have a Top 6 points getters, playing during the Online Championship weekend.

Not a bad idea, problem is that you would be promoting to keep people out of venues, which as stated before is the leagues' target market.....

Have been thinking a little more and come up with.
On every day of the month that ends in 8 (ie 8th, 18th, 28th )have an $8 event. $3 of which goes into the super series fund.
Venues will not be majorily affected as the event will fall on different days.
Could run for the full 3 months of a season. Best 8 scores count.

If you can get around 35 players would create a pool of over $1000.00. Either payable as 888pl Grand final tickets or cash.

Would mean regular online players have something to play for all season and may encourage others to participate.
Players should still be able to attend their regular venue at least 10 times in the season and participate in all events.
