yeah in the off season there was pretty much a mad scramble to try and get goodwin as a coach, and (wisely) he decided to spend some time away from the crows, and managed to get signed by essendon

Lol thats probably why I hadn't heard much about him of late

If Craig gets another year there is something very funny going on in Adelaide, how you are not screaming for his head (or at least expecting him to go rather then expecting hm to stay) is bizarre.

I know people call for coaches heads early, but I thought AFC were the type of club that demanded excellence, not suffered mediocrity!

because i honestly don't think craig is doing that bad a job. i think the mistake he made was to keep edwards and mcleod around maybe a season too long, but hell, they both played 300+ games, so im not gonna be grudge him for that either.

i think people were overestimating the strength of the crows' list, if they have injuries to key players (porplyzia, mckay, davis) then our depth gets found out pretty quick.

This, and he's passing it off to Buckley anyway.

I too find it weird that Crows fans aren't more vehement in calling for Craig's demise.

he has had 5 years or so to create some depth tho...

I really hope that Malthouse leaves Collingwood ASAP, he was basically shoved halfway out the door as McGuire and Co. had little faith in him and tried to do whatever they can not to lose Buckley who they saw as the person to take them where Malthouse couldn't.

Then, after he tweaks the press to its current form and wins a flag, its a case of "ummm I think we made a boo boo here".

He should go, and do what he does best - and give them a little kick on the way out too.

I wonder if the faithful will turn on him or appreciate his efforts? Should go to Carlton - that would be beyond awesome!!

Suprising lack of Pies fans on this forum btw

the Pies are just insanely talented, I've loved watching them this year.

Class above any other side.

They'd need a computer to access the forums though...
