We have a local player who often states many times during a game in a pre flop situation " I'm all in without looking" could the without looking statement be considered an angle shot.
I have discussed this action with a TC and he can see that this is a bit grey and could be considered angle shooting.
what your opinion
Oh the play has never effected my decision when it was my turn to actas I see it as a game tactic to steal the pot preflop, but I can see it cause issues with less experianced players.
What's your decision.....Ok or Angle Shooting

if he says this when he HAS looked then its a definite angle shoot, but if he genuinely hasn't looked then its ok i guess. not really in the spirit of the game but still kind of ok

Completely different. One is declaring your hand. One isn't. Not even a close comparison.

BTW, angle shooting is used to gain an advantage in a hand.
What advantage can be had if the player is already all-in?
If he's lying about it, then that's a douchebag move, but also it's up to each individual player to make they sure they are aware of what is happening at their table. You should be able to tell at all times whether a player is genuine when they say that or not.
