Would love to go live from the GF. This was something had spoken about. Would love to some live interviews with players at the GF.

We run to a run sheet, but not a script as such. I expect it to get much tighter over future episodes.

Raffi has recorded plenty of great stuff for us, so get you pencils ready to take notes!

D0nk unfortunately is part of the poker culture and embedded in us all, while we try not to use it, we are trying to help improve themselves. We all started off as d0nks, and we all want to improve. Hopefully we get to help there.

Just finished listening to it all, stilted start but finished well.

Bravo gents, excellent start and as it gains more structure and a few cameo roles I can only see this getting better and better!!!

first one wasn't scripted in any way, and only had a rough run sheet. we want to get this a bit tighter in the future.

noted. we deliberately did this though, we didn't want to people to think that we were pro or anything, just your average pub players. but will restrict it in the future.

we are planning to do this - generally give our trip reports of the day's play, and hopefully have some interviews from the chip leaders of the day etc.

maybe something like the "calling the clock" interviews on pokernews for different pub players would be good too.

thanks for the feedback garth. i think we kinda found our groove a bit towards the end. next one should be better, especially with your dulcet tones gracing the airwaves!

Hey guys,

Been out of the poker world for a while, just saw the link for the podcast. Not a bad effort guys! I can just imagine old man Swanky being the next Fitzy...lol.

This may be an obvious question, just wondering if the rail is exclusive to MP and 888/APL?

Just wondering as in your opening spill on this thread, you talk about representing pub poker in Aus.

Does this mean you will be also broadcasting to other pub poker leagues?

lol yeah it was a bit like that. but it was our first ever go, im sure we will get better with time.

we would love for it to encompass all leagues, but given we are playing the 888pl gf and we know a lot of 888pl people, it will probably have an 888pl slant, at least initially.

Indeed, let's face it, 888pl is the game we know and love, but getting out and seeing what the other guy does and they play is only fair.

As benny the cunt mentioned though, we are lucky with the contacts we have inside 888pl and are lucky to call a lot of those people our friends.

And the access we have to these people will only make our show better and deliver a product that you guys will enjoy, and that's our main aim.
