That's the whole issue.

The 888PL in SA, and the players here, have made it successful.
The acquisition has meant that - without us doing anything - we have less to gain. It's the fact other states have a massive APL pool that makes it worse for us.

Well said. I was trying to be diplomatic and point out the non-positives rather than the glaring negatives.

For the record, I had 7 players complain to me about not having the Teams Event at the last finals. Of those 7, 6 were from Team Sin2Win.

Damn! I knew there was something else I needed to do that weekend

You were one of the 6 Dave. You just didn't complain then ;)

I know a lot of people who would love the teams event - but I know a lot of non-complainers too :)

I think the teams event have a massive place - but it's a fine art in getting it working.

After playing the partners event at the Crown, I believe that style would be easier to run/get numbers for. I do know some people who think that finding 8 people is daunting.

This was the main consensus after the poor showing to the last Teams event. 8 people was just too hard to organize.

Hence the change to a partners event.

And even then we had people who couldn't find a partner *cough*Elvis*cough*
