Even more progress, Garth has confirmed that the tickets ARE transferable if you have more than one, and they are transferred to an eligable player. Bout time we got some sense here....!!

I may not have been perfectly clear, but I did say this on the first page.

First question - is it 100% established that the tickets will be non-transferrable? if so, what are the reasons for this?

Second Question - if there is a legitimate reason why you cannot play, having qualified, could you defer your ticket to the next final?

Third Question - If you already have a main event ticket (sick brag), what happens if i now go and win a second ticket? Will i hold those tickets over to the next final, get cash for it, or be able to sell to someone else?

1) If you don't have direct buy-in but allow players to transfer their tickets, it becomes the only source for being able to purchase the ticket, thus creating a false market. It will also allow anyone with a spare $1200+ to just buy a ticket without supporting the satellites and event to qualify. While this is a premium event, we still want the average pub player to be able to qualify on the same playing field.

Basically, you don't want one without the other.

2) I think so. Have to check with the big boys on that one.

3) Yes, transferable. The only time they are is when you have 2 or more tickets.

As for everything else, I leave it for the higher ups.

Your answer to benny the cunt's first question above is what has confused everyone I think Caleb....

That was the explanation for why there are not open buyins/transfers.

I thought everyone would at least read the important part referring to people who own more than one ticket.

I think there needs to be some qualification with the wording, that's all.

Transferable could mean transferable to another player - or to the next event.

Is an "eligible player" just one that has played 10 away games in the 6 month period?

Also does anyone know of plans for more online satellites? I see there is one in the lobby set for December.... Any chances before then?

I know, but still, no one asked me for clarification either so I assumed it was mostly understood.

Yes, but you were answering a question that specifically asked if the tickets were 100% non-transferable or not, so that is were the confusion came.

All good mate, I think everyone knows the rules now....
