Re: WSOP 2011 Thread
I really like the live coverage, except when there's an ad and they come back to players already being allin

Re: WSOP 2011 Thread
nah, but railing it on pokernews
seems to be a few short stacks still, even after the first couple got knocked out
yeah that would suck but i guess they gotta go to ads some time

Re: WSOP 2011 Thread
It's the bad thing about ESPN, sooo many ads. They have pop-ups on screen during live sport, while the ball is in play, big enough to cover bout 1/3 of the screen.
I suppose I should be thankful they're not doing that!

im not watching it, but i would nearly prefer uninterrupted coverage with ads on the screen than for them to cut away

Re: WSOP 2011 Thread
Those banner like popups at the bottom of screen aren't so bad, but imagine a far too large picture-in-picture where you can't see anyway so it may as well have been an ad break.
Still, the coverage has been awesome!

Re: WSOP 2011 Thread
i was wondering what hand you were talking about, then i realised that the live coverage is on delay.
make sure you dont accidentally check pokernews
what they should do is have a delayed version of pokernews, kinda like what fanfooty do with the live fantasy scores

Re: WSOP 2011 Thread
He sure got lucky a couple of times, but it's not like he was playing badly either.
I like Staszko, I remember him from one of the feature tables and can recall thinking he was one to watch out for. Seems to me that he spent ages sizing up Heinz so could be some fireworks there.
