Not to derail the thread, but Siri is a complete waste of time. Turned it off the day I got my phone.

With other leagues tell us about the blind structures etc I know NPPL is the alcoholics league so what is it that draws people to these games. Think why people go to these games what the season prizes are. Maybe try different venues and ask a few of the players why they play there. Have a set list of questions that need to be answered for each game like
What are the structures
How many go
What's the food like
Pay out structure
League season prizes
What Time it starts and finishes

Once you have a set list you could get other players in other states to do this for you and do either as interview or guest spot depending on their communication skills.

I didn't really like the opening with an advert perhaps after your intro would be good.

Once again tho good job Can't wait for the next one

this is how we know that the podcast can be great when we finally get the formula right - we pretty much discussed exactly this after the latest podcast went up. like literally everything on your list

For the record, the Rail is the product of people who have frequented the 888plforum for years, so it will always favour all things 888pl. And since they are not officially affilliated with FHG, there should be no reason that you can't leave a box of your "the Rail" business cards on the counter of every venue that hosts NPPL tournies!!! That might start to convert some of the il-informed NPPL players!!...

I played NPPL when I was in Melb a few weeks ago .......my experiance was similar to that of swankys ......horrible except the venue I visited did have an excellent blind time a pre blind change alert 1 min out and then another alert for the change.

Oh I do play other leagues and NPPL is on the dont bother list now.
