Tyr this one guys. Dakota in his opening speech said that their will be one additional rule added each tourney just to freshen people minds of any changes.
He even thanked me as it was one of my ideas here on the forum, see it does work for us sometimes.
Anyway, he mentioned that if you leave the table and you are not there when the last card is dealt irrespective of you being in the blinds or not, your cards will be mucked.
So, around 5 hands into the tourney this guy takes a walk to the bar. Everyone says to the dealer muck his cards he's not here. The dealer says why??? For F--ck sake what's wrong with people???
When we told him that's what Dakota was talking about he said aw gee I didn't hear him say it.
Last break comes and goes and we all return to the tables minus me mate Todd who was BB for $1,000. Cards get dealt everyone says fold his cards same dealer again queeries why it's his big blind?
Dakoda was at the table sitting in Todds seat and says because you have too it's the rules. His chip stayed there until there was a bet or call and then it went into the centre.
Todd returned after getting some fresh air LOL and was surprised his BB was in the centre and moreso when Dakota told him he would have won the pot.
Todd took it in his stride and said oh well I'll have to win it back later. Well he did and he also went on to win the tourney. Scotty came second and I ran third and it was a great night.

Yes these rules need to be kept throughout all venues.
Thurs night the person sitting next to me took a phone call while at the table, after chatting some what loudly i proceeded to polietly haha ask him to leave the table or hang up, he glared at me and stood up.
Meanwhile the cards had been dealt and his hand was mucked, he leaned over the table whilst still on the phone and grabbed his cards. everyone on the table said to him your hand is mucked and your out of this hand, he was very annoyed and spat it!!!!!
He ended his call and sat down then asked why his hand was mucked!!!!!! maybe if he listened a bit more he would know!!!!!
