You've got the job Jo!

If you can find everything that needs updating and send me an email I will be sure to pass it on to the web team. WIth some added GK flavour!!

Lol, I was talking about a payroll job, pay, sick leave, super, etc.!!! But if you already have a web-team on the payroll, let's leave it to them. It shouldn't be too difficult to flick them an email every time there is a change made for a simple website update....

Payment in venue vouchers??

:D
What?, poker without the river??, you've just made my dreams come true!!!

This. Unfortunately, it does look pretty unprofessional to have a website that is constantly out of date, and/or with incorrect information.

Nah rather play in a venue that OL but alas neither is on the agenda, tonight CFS meeting is more important.

However I do feel the OL needs a total overhaul, myself I rarely play online now maybe reasonable priced sats to bigger things.....but I will always choose live over online.

Am in this, seems like the tourney has a $200 Guarantee, perhaps having this in the Tourney name would be a good start!!

My belief on all this is less is more, why bother having multiple tourneys that never get played as they have no real significant meaning.

We have the oppurtunity to make a name for 888PL players on the Australian poker landscape if we use the exclusive 888PL touneys online. I personally would be happier paying good money to try sat into AM events, for example. This allows would allow for 888PL/Mistress Poker branding of players in events and the rep of the brand grows.

I also agree the online structure needs to mean something be that qualification in live semi etc or possible even into online champs events.

thats a great point hagar - 888's regular tourney schedule provides lots of opportunity for people to play at any time of they day if they want, so scrapping them all and having 1 larger tourney, either a satellite or a cash prize game, with a guaranteed prize would be great

There are regularly 60+ players in the freerolls and the AKthong, I don't think it would be right to deny these players, who have continued to play online 888PL games even though they can no longer qualify for State finals, a game. Scrapping all these games and adding big buy in games to suit a few players would deny most of theses players a game at all. There is also the social aspect to consider. Many players make a point of meeting up with people they play online when they play at state finals or the main event.
