I'm surprised that there hasn't been any discussion about this event?
888PL TD Russ Learmonth runs this event with Eric Lao every Tuesday night. The event is a $20.00 buy in and typically is a $500 GTD first place price. On average a total of 70 to 80 runners regularly play this event.
But for the last two months, one Tuesday is dedicated to a $1000 GTD first prize game which attracted 141 and 144 runners on both occasions, half the number that attended the SA State Champs 2 days ago.
What makes this game even more amazing is the amount you get for the other paid places.
1st $1000
2nd $600
3rd $400
4th $300
5th $200
6th $150
7th $100
8th $80
9th $50
The event is extremely well run and very enjoyable to play, a credit to Russ and Eric for their professionalism.
So if your after a quality game on a tuesday night, why consider the Checkside Tavern at AAMI Stadium.

Can only vouch for everything u have said Ian. The lads have worked hard to turn the place into the biggest regular game in the state.
