Only watched bits of the game but they looked gone at half time and it was always gonna be a 10+ goal win after that.
The 5 day break was definitely a factor as you mentioned but I thought they'd be fresher so early in the season.
Well done trishan

Re: AFL 2012
It's gonna be great having 5 games each Saturday for most rounds of the year. Here's my thoughts and bet tips for tomorrow's day games.
I thought the Bombers were very average last week against North, although they showed patches of their best. Hocking is major omission for the Bombers while the Butcher injury is a similarly big blow for Port given he kicked 4 goals and received 1 Brownlow vote for his performance the last time these clubs met late last year. Robbie Gray isn't listed as a starter or emergency even though he was probably in contention to play this week. He kicked 6 goals last year against the Bombers, so as a Bomber man I really hope he isn't a late inclusion! Port always seem to be a bogey team for the Bombers and I think this game isn't as one-sided as the bookies will have you believe. I'd stay away from this game betting wise but tip the Bombers. If anything, Port with the 25 point headstart seems fair at best.
Sydney have shortened a little in the betting, probably because of the inclusion of O'Keefe and Rhyce Shaw. I still think Freo are excellent value to win their third game in a row at the SCG. Besides taking them straight up at $2.22-$2.35, Fremantle 1-39 @ $2.80 and Fremantle -11.5 @ $3 are also worth consideration.
The twighlight game is the Eagles and Demons. Neeld has omitted Davey. I did I say I thought he would shoot himself in the foot by omitting big name players, but I agree 100% with Davey's omission. He was terrible in the Lion's game and deserved to be dropped. Still see WC dominating and covering the line which is now out to 51.5 points. Josh Kennedy to kick the most goals at $2.25 works well as a multi booster. Based on his efforts last week, I can see him kicking a bag.
Best bet for the day is WC -51.5 ($1.95) into Fremantle ($2.22) for total odds of $4.33 Adding any Bomber legs to this multi is too risky - steer clear of that game is my advice.

I haven't seen Freo play this badly for a few years now. No excuses.

Re: AFL 2012
I was dreading the second half but we actually ran the game out well.
Interchange paperwork free kick was very soft but technically there. Meanwhile Mzungu got held and had someone fall into his back in the goal square and nothing.

Yeh! There was like 3 free kicks there! Good on em for finishing well. One player who really stood out as being horrible was the tall guy, number 20 or 30, can't remember (has an afro). He needs to consider alternate career options.

Late Mail: Looks like some tough weather conditions. Geelong is a very good chance in the rain.

Re: AFL 2012
Late Mail: Trying to dribble a goal from 50m in a fairly open forward line at the death is a poor option. Even if you are a superfreak.
May all your pain be champagne!
