Melton Tabcorp Park is a new 888 venue and they had trouble trying to get numbers for games at the first event. 4 players turned up. My GF won it.
To attract the numbers for this particular friday night event, they had a special promotion where 1st and 2nd gets seats to the State Semi. You didn't need points accumulated or even played in any 888 events prior. You just had to bink 1st or 2nd and you got a ticket.
It was assumed and in the end confirmed by Ernie that whoever came 1st or 2nd could effectively transfer that ticket to anyone who played in this event. 1 If you can transfer tickets, then its negotiable whether 888 likes it or not. Dollars will exchange if tickets can be transferred.
I understand that normally you can't acquire entry to State S/F this way, but these 2 seats were special entries.
