Correct me if I'm wrong but I always believed 888pl (Full-house Group) was part of the 888 POKER AFFILIATES PROGRAMME :? http://affiliates.888.com/en/commissions/

888pl I believe would have Signed Up (Refer) the Largest Base of Australian Poker Players JOB WELL DONE.

And will carry on being Rewarded through 888 POKER Affiliates Programme.

NOW THIS IS THE BIT THAT HAS ME DUMBFOUNDED: As a Valued Client 888pl who Supplied 888 Poker with Australia Largest Player Base. WHY WOULDN'T 888 POKER BEND OVER BACKWARDS TO AFFILIATE EVERY NEED ??????.

JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE FROM A BUSINESS POINT OF VIEW ???

FEED BACK WELCOME :-)

Well I don't think the 888PL would be a member of the affiliate program linked to above. It's more likely that a different agreement was reached, but the end result would more than likely have been the same. The 888PL would receive either a flat fee per player or a percentage of revenue, more likely the former. I just wonder (and if I am wrong I am sure Garth will correct me), if the 888pl pushed their member base to signup to receive commissions and now that commissions have been paid, there is no longer an incentive for the 888PL to promote the online side hence the online aspect coming to a complete halt. I am sure there are other issues such as timing/translation issues which Garth has pointed out, but still makes you wonder.

Just want to make sure this post doesn't get taken the wrong way. I am just speculating as to one of the reasons, of which there are probably several, that the online games have been neglected. My logic is based on the assumption that the FHG receives a flat-fee commission per player that signs up. Of course this assumption could be completely wrong and the arrangement between the FHG and 888 could involve no commissions.

However, if that is a correct assumption, it follows that the 888PL would have an incentive to sign-up as many players as possible. To convert members of the player base into signups, the league would develop an awesome online schedule, with lots of promotions and make it as easy as possible for members to get online. Initially, a lot of employee time will be put into the online aspect of the league to encourage signups. Once the rate of new signups declines though, the marginal cost per signup (costs such as promotions/employee time/online champs organisation etc.) is likely to be higher than the commission earned per signup, so from a business/profit point of view, the online aspect of the league should be abandoned.

888PL online and this forum have nothing to do with each other Darren.

The forum is run by a private party (Dave), not FHG.

APL is there existing Arrangements with Centrebet in Place :?
(Only assume this because APL ran a Online Promotion using Centerbet Pokersite)

Is their anything preventing Fullhouse Group From Marketing towards APL members :?:

APL GLORY DAYS HAD MASSIVE NUMBERS FOR APL ONLINE FULLTILT

APL have a larger Player Base.

ONLINE CHAMPS could be a Starting Point :?:
